Indeed, I will not open the tournament for a 32-spot QD. Indeed, there is enough tournament on the ATP tour (2 other ATP tournament) and challengers (2 challengers). It could have been possible if there was less tournaments - maybe that was the case in the past.
I think you can easily find a spot (with or without rankings) in MD of Challenger if you commit before the 1st deadline (before sunday)
