The Catholic Church is above all a political organisation, despite its´ religious background, so politics will decide who will get chosen. I suspect the church is in it´s own ´yes we can-moment´, feeling that it is time to reach out to the non-European catholics, who constitute more and more of the church. Therefore, I would put my money on Turkson, with Sandri coming in in second place. As in all politics, the abilities of the candidates themselves will play not too big a role.
