Indoor winter 2013
Richie will play Montpellier, Rotterdam and Marseille.
He has a bye in the first round of Montpellier. Then he plays the winner of Monfils/Bemelmans.
A possible R2 vs Monfils would be fun. Assuming he plays a better match against him than vs Jo.
There's a lot of frenchies in the draw, he could also meet Benneteau in QF.
Allez Richie !!

Re: Indoor winter 2013
Allez Richard!!
Tough 2nd round match it could be against Monfils but hopefully Richard plays the right way!!
Berdych pulled out today, who could have faced Richard in the SF.

Re: Indoor winter 2013
6-3 2-6 6-3 against Monfils. Up and down match from both, but I never doubted the outcome.

Title #9
Richard has 720 points at the race, which means as much as Roger. Yes I know it is February 10th only
Next, Rotterdam, he plays Troicki in the first round. There is a lot of talents in his quarter with Flo Mayer, Davydenko, Tomic, Dimitrov, Paire, Baghdatis... He could meet Paire again in R2.
Allez Richard!!

Re: Indoor winter 2013
And the final was the easiest, no second set hick-up and too much variation for Paire.
Come on Richard, surf the wave in Rotterdam, too!

Re: Indoor winter 2013
Obviously, overall a great start to the year for Richard. He is winning every match that he is supposed to win. Now, we would all like for him to score a really big win over a top 8 player in big event such as 500. He will have a chance this week. If Richard wants to get to top 8, as I am sure it is goal his for the season. He is not too far from Tsonga who is at 8th spot and with few good results, I am he has ability to get to top 8, in which case, it will become so much easier for him to reach quarters of a GS and go deep consistently in Masters. Still a long way to go, but he doesn't have much to defend throughout Miami.

Re: Indoor winter 2013
What a fabulous start to the year ! Second title and it's only February . Hope he continues on this winning path
I only got to see the final this week , but was completely impressed . He played with great variety of shot and power ! When did he start cracking his forehand like that ?
It's all good so far - I have my tickets in hand for Indian Wells , and I hope to see him play several matches while I am there
will keep you posted !

190 points from now on to Estoril to be precise, which is end of April (90 Rotterdam, 10 IW, 90 Miami).

Re: Indoor winter 2013
7/6 6/1 Win over Troicki!
Richard had some problems serving for it but he got it done in the TB!! I thought he played a good match!
Baghdatis or Paire next!

Re: Indoor winter 2013
Only saw first set tiebreak and second set and he played great. Was aggressive on big points and that is something he rarely did in the past. I like how he is using forehand to set up his shots a lot more now and he outplayed Troicki from that side in the second set. Some of his angles were amazing. His second set, was one of the most cleanest and aggressive this year. It was dangerous first round match since he lost to Troicki couple times on hardcourts and easily too.
In R16, I would like to see him play Marcos, and he never beat him, so it will be a challenge, but Richard is playing well and now is a good time.
