Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread
John lost the rematch 6-3 3-6 6-7. Not a huge surprise to see Robert turn the tables. It will be interesting to see where he plays next. He isn't entered for the futures in Melbourne or Mildura but there is a challenger in Sydney after that.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread
First post but I think of all the aussies given wildcards to the AO John can crack the top 100, he mixed it with his opponets all summer and Robert was a tough one for a challenger and to go 1-1 with a tiebreak deciding the losing tie is an acceptable result at this point. Watching with interest for the year but I think we'll see him in some main draws of ATP events this year.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread
Millman is in a training block, so there will be no Futures and also he is in the top 200 now.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread
Johnny should be able to get back on the winners list next week in Kyoto, he will play a qualifier in the first round.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread
John had a 7-6 6-4 win over Matsui. Matsui had his chances in the second set and continued to come to the net on a lot of points but John got through it in the end and will play another qualifier (Kondo or Sikora) in the second round.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread
John had a good come back win over Hiroki Kondo a qualifier from Japan 4-6 6-1 7-6(3)
He will most likely face German 7th seed Peter Gojowczyk who is currently beating Sam Groth 6-4 4-3 seving.

Re: John "the Mailman" Millman Cheering Thread
I'm a bit surprised at that score-line but the indor surface may be the reason. Millman is playing Gojowczyk but should be able to get through that match, even if Groth couldn't.
