I looked at my watch only a couple of times but he was surprisingly quick, clearly under 25 seconds.
I think there was one warning ... but to Delbonis who indeed was slower at times.
The umpire was Carlos Bernardes, that is an experienced guy whom Rafa quite likes, good choice if it had been necessary.
I hope Nadal can keep on like that, but we will see when Nadal has to face an opponent who makes him less relaxed.
Yesterday, he started very relaxed even though less after 0-2 0*-30.
Delbonis started well (Nadal was actually playing very short) but then made too many easy errors whereas Nadal was far from his level in the first set.
Nadal started the second set very well and it was over.

MTF is never able of seeing changes or inflexions anyway, then no surprise that they will always think that things will keep on and on the same
honestly, there was absolutely nothing yesterday for Djokovic to fear

I just had the impression that after a conservative start when he played very short, and his opponent was at a practise-match level, he thought about trying to hit harder for his practise again in the beginning of second set.
Nadal can hit very hard in practise matches, that's something we've known for long.
It doesn't mean necessarily that it's the tactics he will always use.
Besides, if he hits hard because he can't move well (and his move was not good in the start and has not been tested really, sometimes in the end of first set, he hit shots in such a way that he wouldn't have been able to move back), it's not good news either.
Wait and see.

What a great moment for me! After 7 months tennis is back! Thank you Rafa!
That was quite a good match from Nadal by the way. To passive at times, but good serving instead. Some nice aces down the T line.
Looking forward to next matches!
Vamos Rafa!

Let's wait until after nadal wins the 3 MM clay tournaments and plays a fellow top 10 player.

Full match,
Nadal looked slower, so much slower, but I hope he will progress in the next months.

Rafa looking mighty fine in his lilac shirt and shorter shorts.
The boring times are over.

Yup, let's see how he performs at majors and so on, he played an awesome RG last year and lost immediately at Wimbledon, making any kind of prediction regarding Nadal's performance(s) seems to be next to impossible.
