samano, seems that you are like 'the croatian Helevorn' (or he is 'the italian samanosuke', don't want to hurt your ego ). both rooting against countrymen in the forum but, deep inside, cheering proudly for them! maybe i'm being too harsh though, you do support other croatian players apart from Marin at least?

never understood logic of supporting someone just because he/she/them are my countrymen. ofc i support my countrymen in sports just Cilic is so huge mug that even if he is my relative it wouldn't help. and for others, Karlovic has always been one of my favorite players, the same like Ljubo, not to talk about Goran

Every person on planet Earth is born a Mug !
The thing is how many % of the Mugginess in your genes can you remove thus become a more successful mug
so it goes like this (beware everybody is a mug)
The less mug you are , the more success in life you'll meet.
P.S. Our own mothers too are Mugs
Respectfully

OK, maybe I should have said most of my countrymen but thought it was obvious what i wanted to say

 You're hilarious bro
Although i'm with you on this one For example i don't like Grigor in spite of him being our only player in top 400 !

i can understand why you don't like him, masochistic experience supporting him but hopefully one day he solves his issues. his game returning belief in tennis, if Cilic has his talent i would be Cilic's tard #1 ( not an easy job )

Well, it's already been said how that sounded a bit incoherent to say the least I don't blindly support every italian athlete out there in the whole world, clearly, since it can happen than some of them (many) can be pricks or douchebags as persons. of course, there are still many valid reasons to not support every athlete that it's one's countryman (even not liking his/her/their playstyle could be a reason, though not for HATING) but of course it makes sense to support the majority of them since that clearly contributes to the growth of the sport's popularity in the country, and it's nice to see them succeed even in individual sports because it only brings positives towards the state of said discipline where you live + the patriotic aspect can't be denied. it's quite obvious

IMO it's the case of unfulfilled expectations. He started his career well, people got their hopes up, he was even making semi-runs at slams which was rarely the case with Ljubicic, and Ljubo got to #3.
For a long time now he didn't make a significant result on the tour, he fell in a black hole, no confidence, spraying errors all over the place and people just gave up on him and started hating because he's a disappointment.

You're right ! The only reason why i don't hate him is cause he got a PERFECT style which kinda puts him in my "neutral" graph ... and yeah ... Faith in Tennis is restored a little with player like him
