Re: Europe/Africa Group II 1st Round: Benin at Portugal (February 1-3, 2013)
It's all relative. Probably Portugal will play the most (or all) of the ties at home, but last year we played allways away and we were relegated mainly because of that.
Doubles match in 35 minutes, let's finish this tie Portugal.

Re: Europe/Africa Group II 1st Round: Benin at Portugal (February 1-3, 2013)
We are through. Funyy fact, if the match vs. Lietuva was away, I would probably see it live (if it was in Vilnius), cause I will be there around that time, I think. Since its in Portugal, I will probably wont see it, cause its kind of far of my hometown here
The 2 countries of my heart, but I am portuguese in the first place. I wish they didnt meet and both would be through group I Portugal at home, in clay, is favourite, but it would depend of the form of our best players. Gastao i think was scratched by our federation at least this year, so wouldnt count on him to play...

You didn't answer my question.
How would you decide who gets the home tie?
People always find a reason to complain yet the never have a feasible solution

It looks so. :P
In his comeback, Rui Machado started without rythm but, at the end, he won 2-6 6-2 6-0. He's ready to be back to the professional circuit.
André Gaspar Murta will play for the 1st time in his career in the Davis Cup in a few minutes. Big moment for him.

Lithuania it's coming! If Girgelis will be healthy and in good shape, when Lithiaunia can win even on clay.

Honestly, at Portugal's home, I'm not seeing Lithuania winning. You have to see that the players that are playing this tie aren't our best players.

Well, definitely too easy for Portugal. Our young boy André Murta won 6-1 6-2 and Portugal makes the 5-0.

Our best players, it seems they are start to be in shape. They will reach their peak around spring. I dont see how Lithuania can win the match if that happens, IMO.
