RIP Scotso
He was one of the first Simon fans on this board and remained an ardent supporter through thick and thin. He called this place "le poulailler" and made it his online home for years. His joyful playfulness but also his struggle for health and happiness will always stay with me.
Scott passed away last week. Rest in peace my dear dear friend. You'll be sorely missed.

Re: RIP Scotso
What sad news I didn't know he had health problems. I remember him from Gulbis forum, he was a fan even before Ernests got his own forum here on MTF.
RIP

I didn't manage to know him very well ( I entered here mid-2010) but he seemed like a really nice guy and a true Gilles fan. RIP

Re: RIP Scotso
Oh no. I remember him being cyber bullied and sharing some hugs and hope back then. Had no idea he was that ill. He was quite young wasn't he?

Re: RIP Scotso
I didn't know him very well, only from his posts here. But I always liked him in this part of the forum. I'm quite shocked that one of my fellow Gilou fans died. RIP Scotso.

He was one of the first member I talked to on this forum. I was not in touch with him anymore but such a sad news.

Re: RIP Scotso
Wow this is shocking :'( I remember him from here and TF and I'm sure we were friends on FB many moons ago. This news feels so surreal.
If you don't mind my asking what was his health problems?

Re: RIP Scotso
This shocked me
He'd been on this forum since before even me - which is a long time and he was always lovely to me and I had a lot of time for him even though I hadn't been in contact with him for a while now. Such sad news
RIP Scotty

Re: RIP Scotso
Awful news!
He was such a lovely funny guy and although he had problems he always seemed to come out the other side stronger and still smiling. I will miss him and my thoughts are with him and Stephen and his network of family and friends xxx
