Re: Has Djokovic surpassed Stefan Edberg and/or Boris Becker?
If we consider the players of this era at their peak, the top 10 would be in no specific order:
Federer
Nadal
Djokovic
Murray
Del Potro
Tsonga
Berdych
Davydenko
Soderling
Roddick
I'm only including players who were a factor at any point in the past 5-6 years, say since 2007/2008.
If we had to do the same for the early 90s era, it'd be something like:
Sampras
Agassi
Becker
Lendl
Courier
Ivanisevic
Edberg
Chang
Stitch
Krajicek/Muster/Gomez
I'll let era specialists decide which looks stronger.

Just how Djokovic started winning decent titles when his opponents declined.

Fishnet is BigJohn, NID. But since he's a Fedtard, mods won't touch him, just like they won't touch Magician (Honestly)

Re: Has Djokovic surpassed Stefan Edberg and/or Boris Becker?
lol no
in this era (2010 onwards) all slams should be halved
so nole is on 3
nadal has 7
muzzah is slamless
when you compare them to the greats with those numbers it makes much more sense
nole is almost courier level
nadal is almost as good as agassi
and muzzah is almost as good as brad gilbert

Re: Has Djokovic surpassed Stefan Edberg and/or Boris Becker?
The early 90s were still decent. The late 90s were the low point, with players like Thomas Muster, Marcelo Rios, Carlos Moya advancing to world #1. Sampras and Agassi were good when they were good, but Sampras gradually turned into a Wimbledon-only phenomenon and Agassi took long breaks between his peaks. They didn't have that 'these guys are the ones to beat, at every tournamen't status that, say, Connors, Borg, McEnroe had in their day, or Federer and Nadal had later.
Mens'' tennis came gradually back in the early 2000s with Safin, Kuerten, Hewitt. And then came Federer.
Today we're at the end of a golden age, Federer is old, Nadal's body is giving out, and even Djokovic and Murray are beyond a tennis player's best years. From here things can only go down.

Re: Has Djokovic surpassed Stefan Edberg and/or Boris Becker?
Fishnet is not Big John. I suspect he might be another permabanned MTF user from even before I joined (read a few of his posts in bumped threads), but I'm not sure so I'll keep my suspicions to myself for now and give him the benefit of the doubt. He's 100% not Big John though.

define 'decent titles'? Djokovic (barely 20yo) did beat prime Fed and Nadal in 2007 and won his first GS in 2008. Please, with all respect, don't lecture us about tennis history.
The first tennis match I've seen (dad just purchased a new colour TV ) was JMac/Borg final at Wimbledon back in 1980.

'Declined' to one rank behind Djokovic, that is.
