Actually I've always had the impression that Kevin Mitchell has a raging hard-on for Nadal above any other player...

Yes, but regardless of its political opinions it used to have good tennis coverage. Mind you, that was in the days way back when, when reporters actually used to concentrate on the match and how it was played, instead of giving endless pages of features on "Why Player A can win this Grand Slam", "How Player A can win this Grand Slam", "How Player A trains so he can win this Grand Slam" etc. etc.

Re: "Murray's AO chances scuppered by No. 3 seeding"
Murray's AO chances scuppered because his stamina and endurance are not as good as Djokovic's. Look how Djokovic won the AO last year. His SF lasted 5 hours, the final 6 hours. He still won the title.

If he hadn't been so shit when it really mattered he would be in the top 2 thus rendering this argument as useless.
Murray fans do love to give their heroic failure an excuse every time he loses.

Was it first for Murray to have 5 sets matches back to back against top players ?

Re: "Murray's AO chances scuppered by No. 3 seeding"
Fed is so smart he knew he has not chance against fresher Novak in F ,To play 3 BO5 matches vs top players it can give him only injury but not the title. Fed just made sure Murray's happiness for the win against him to be short, In F Murray felt Fed's fingerprints all over.
Federer knows how hard it is getting for Murray to win his second GS. You start to question yourself will i win other title or i can be next Andy Roddick. It would get harder and harder for him to win again.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Federer's a smart guy, and facing Nole in the final would be figurative suicide.

Federer is old dog He has what 24 GS finals and played four generations ,Tomic is 11 years younger than Federer is, He knows exactly what Novak, Murray or Nadal think, He is always one or two steps ahead , What Tsonga said about him When Federer comes in locker room everyone gets silent and everyone knows he is the boss but he likes to tease us,

Pepi, you are being melodramatic. I guarantee you that Djokovic doesn't get silent . He probably talks to Roger, like one alpha male to another. think about it. If you suggest that Roger knows what Nole or Rafa think, I'm sure that Nole and Rafa know what Roger thinks too . I know you adore Fed but tone it down girlfriend

Re: "Murray's AO chances scuppered by No. 3 seeding"
lol murray can be no.1 seed and he still wouldn't win AO. What a stupid article!
When one day he gets no.1 i think he is more beatable than Fed, Nadal & Djokovic. Easiest player to lose his no.1 ranking.
Furthermore cannot count him as no.2, he had easy draw and meeting tired olderer. Do a reverse and u know Fed will straight set everyone in murray's draw + beat murray in 4.

So...according to this article situation would be much better if Murray was #1 seed?!
