I think it would have been better Rycka playing first match to take the lead in the series, but anyway hope Lihtuania be 2-0 on friday.

Some info about Cyprus players:

Cuzdriorean is 26 and has no ranking. His 3 last matches were for Davis Cup (2010 and 2011) and lost them all without winning a set (against Kellener, Machado and Maamoun)

He also played 5 futures in his career, winning just a match.

Chrysochos is 16, has never played an ATP match. He's 130 in Juniors ranking, he recently played Aus Open Junior, passed through the qualies, defeated Alexander Zverev in R64, and lost to Hugo Di Feo in R32. Hope Dovydas can beat him .

Lihtuania is almost certain to win the series. The bet for cyprus is whether can make at least one win. Rares Cuzdriorean is a good player (especially on hard ... he has good serve) but he is not a pro-player. He plays for hoppy in the local tournaments (in actual fact he is a coach) and never tries to play futures etc. I saw him playing on hard and I am sure he can challenge Sakinis but I am not sure about his physical condition (even if he is 2 sets up ... does not mean that he will win).

If Rares wins ... then I guess Cypriot coach will replace Chrysochos (yound talented player - he was awarded best boy U16 for 2012 by Tennis Europe) with one of the other guys to keep him fresh for Saturday & Sunday.

PS. Berankis will win both singles (that's for sure)

I think Lithuanians could win if Dovydas Sakinis played doubles instead of Lukas.
Dovydas studies at Dartmouth College in the USA and is a member of college's tennis team. He played well in the first match.
