I saw the last few games only. Wawrinka seemed untroubled. Way to go, Stan

Lukas never got going. Errors flew off his racket.
This is a very slow hard court. Funnily enough that's Lukas's worst surface. They probably picked the best court to play him on.
Stan was decent enough. If he can beat Berdych then Federer's chances of a DC title become realistic.

Intelligent play from Stan to gain the advantage in the first two sets, just waited for the mistakes to come from Rosol.

Well done by Rosol to get 11 games. Unlike Wimbledon he had a tougher opponent to deal with and this is why he lost.

He doesn't want to risk playing too much & getting tired or injured. He will play 2 500-level tournaments in February, and then Indian Wells in March. Also he is spending more time with his family.
