The ITF has announced the official team nominations for the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group, Zone Group I and Zone Group II first round ties, taking place on 1-3 February. Follow all the action on the official Davis Cup by BNP Paribas websites: www.daviscup.com and www.copadavis.com.

one of the harder ties to pick.. all the Kazakh players should be better than they are.

Melzer lead the first set 5-2* then fell behind 5-6* and finally lost the tiebreak because he thought one ball was going to go long and it didnt.
Anywhere else than davis cup Melzer would beat Korolev easy.

More like the players who underachieve all year long suddenly play great in home when its davis cup. Korolev is a good example.

the Austrians are pretty much out it seems.. bit embarrassing but the Kazakh players are all better than their ranking if they are in form
