It hasn't been done since 1968. Novak is capable but I doubt it. Mighty Fed failed to do it and many other legends couldn't do it. Laver, with all respect, did it back in '68 on only 2 surfaces (clay and grass). But anything is possible, we'll have to wait and see  .
I see many guys here can hardly wait for RG. We have some other tournaments before RG  |

Biggest hurdles are Nadal at FO and Federer at Wimbledon. Funny how Novak's calendar grand slam attempt is barred by the greatest clay courter at the FO and arguably the co-greatest grass courter at Wimbledon. If Roger and Rafa are to prevent Novak from achieving something neither of them were able to do, they'll have to defend the tournaments they're most associated with. Either way, history is being shaped again this year – Novak tied with most AO titles and possible calendar year slam? Nadal with 8 French Opens? Roger with 8 Wimbledons?

I just want Nole to win one more slam this year. That's reasonable. For all 4 slams in one year he would need a lot of skill and a lot of luck. Not trying to be negative, but Nole 2011 was superior to Nole 2013! If he can repeat half of what he did that season, he is the man!
