Re: Brydan Klein: Australia's Big Hope
Klein played his "get out of jail card" against Vanni - was a set down (46) and a break down in the 2nd set tie-break with Vanni serving at 5-4, and then won the next three points to steal the tie-break 7-5. He then broke Vanni early to lead 2-1, saved a break point and served out the remainder of the set.
Well done Klein.

May be Great Britain's next big hope judging by the the GBR next to his name for next weeks Busan Challenger. Looks like another one lost to Australia!

Yes, his ITF page has been updated to say he represents GB.

Re: Brydan Klein: Australia's Big Hope
Perhaps the title should be edited as well when the thread is moved

Re: Brydan Klein: Australia's Big Hope
Crazy. I get the impression that Tennis Australia invested a lot in him over the years (unlike Johanna Konta who also went from AUS to GBR last year but was never involved in Aussie tennis) so this is a slap in the face.
Except that Brydan is a spoiled brat and likely still racist so meh... the poms can have him.

Even after spending so much money on him TA probably feels this way as well. Honestly, you guys have such impressive young talent with Tomic, Kyrgios, Kokkinakis, and many more that it is really no loss at all for Australian tennis.

nice of you to say Smoke944. We are lucky that we do have the players you mentioned and also younger ones like Jasika and Anderson coming along nicely. I just feel sad about this really. Brydan has undoubted potential and his friends say that he is a lovely person but his hot headed nature and defiance of authority at the end formed a gulf that could not be mended sadly. Lets hope he does not play games like the idiot Lindahl who kept changing his nationality from Sweden to Australia and back again just to be a pain.

Re: Brydan Klein: Australia's Big Hope
Good. GB can have this racist spoilt brat. He might even play DC for them.

How can he say what he did and not be racist? People who aren't racist don't just accidentally say racist things.
