The open-era record holders for "## of grand slam titles won after Djokovic's current age" are Federer at 6, Agassi and Lendl at 5, Sampras at 4.

I have a hunch that this will happen, although I would love to see Novak take CYGS.

True, but when Federer was 25 years old the year-end top 20 contained 4 players under the age of 22: Nadal (#2 - 20 YO), Berdych (#13 - 21 YO), Djokovic (#16 - 19 YO), Murray (#17 - 19 YO) whereas last year the top 20 contained no players under the age of 22 and the top 50 only contained one player under the age of 22: Dimitrov (#48 - 21 YO).

This. I honestly think that tennis as a sport is changing/has changed. People have thrown around the term ''weak era'' because no young players seem to be breaking through and 30+ players like Federer and Ferrer are still getting to quarters/semis of slams but I think because of surface homogenisation we are seeing a shift to players seeing their peak years from 25-30 rather than 20-25. Nadal is a perfect example of someone who has benefited from this. When he 1st starting winning slams he was around 18/19 and this was fairly normal in comparison to previous eras. However, slowly surfaces began to merge into one another and here in 2013 they are all fairly similar and as a result the peak of players has changed from 25-30, just as Nadal entered that age group.

Why not 190?
'cos he'd be around 73 before that was possible.

There is no way Federer win's 3 more slams imo. With a faster surface maybe, hes got maybe 1 or 2 Wimbledon's left in him if hes lucky.

Is this serious? 3 more for Federer? Wawrinka and Berdych winning slams? Murray not winning another one? Really?

''I know, Wawrinka played a good match a few days ago, he'll probably win a slam.''
''Soderling thrashed Berdych and Ferrer in his last 2 matches, maybe he'll grab a slam.''

Murray: 2 more slams - 3 slams

This looks like a very sound prediction to me. Too easy do we assume the top 4 will continue dominating indefinitely, but fact of the matter is that current conditions, even though they have existed for a relatively long time, will not persist. These guys will age, will deteriorate and sooner or later someone will step up.

That's only 7 slams for the top 4. Less than 2 years. Murray and Djokovic are only 25. Nadal is 26 (although given his current situation is understandable if someone thinks he won't win a lot more). Do you see Tomic or Dimitrov or Harrison beating Djokovic or Murray in two years from now?? And neither of the top four wining a single slam after that time? (Federer will be to old, but not the rest). They won't dominate for ever, but they will prbably dominate more than the next 7 slams. I don't see anyone from the new generation beating Murray or Djokovic soon (not even Federer). The only one who can stop the top 4 from wining slams is Del Potro maybe.
