It pays to train hard - hitting on Xmas Eve and Boxing Day paid off.
Great match against Karlovic - would have been very nerve-wracking - showed some ticker there.

I am a little surprised at the ease of this scoreline. It looked though that Matt was playing well and JP was making a shitload of unforced errors. Good luck in round 2.

Good result from a player currently in form. JP Smith has been niggled with a few minor injuries of late but I think Matts power, with the balls being used heavier than the USA balls JP is used to, being a factor in this scoreline.
