Excellent question and a lot depends on Nadal's future fitness and how much Federer has left in the tank.

Federer 1 more probably Wimbledon GS Total = 18

Nadal 3 more probably RG X 3 GS Total = 14

Djokovic 4 more probably AO X 2 US X 2 GS Total = 10

Murray 3 more probably Wimb x 1 US X 1 AO X 1 GS Total = 4

I don't see the likes of Berdych, Tsonga or Del Potro making any real progress against these guys.

Fed = probably 1 more tops. As much as I'd be happy for him to keep winning slams (and he did show he can still hang with the top guys at the AO) he's going to continue his steady decline and will have to be sure to grab his chance if it materialises.

Rafa = I could see him claiming as many as 4-5 more. He's still going to be favourite at the FO for a while, and depending on health I don't think you'd really count him out of the other slams, especially with his mentality.

Novak = 5 more at the least imo. He's the dominant force in tennis right now, great on all surfaces, is at the peak of his career, and he holds a mental edge on the hardcourt rival who's likely to stick around to challenge him.

Murray = could have said a lot before the AO final, but another loss really makes me question how reliable he will be as long as the other guys are there to mount a challenge.

Of course this is all dependant on the younger generation continuing to fail to make any inroads at all.

Makes a total of 14-15 slams. Even if no other player wins any slam in the coming years, it takes almost for years to complete this. By then Murray and Djokovic will be 29, Nadal 30, and Federer 35. Methusalem-ages for grand slam winners.

It's really hard to predict without knowing when somebody else will break through so I'm going to guess the share of slams over the next 12:

Federer: 0
Nadal: 2 French Opens
Djokovic: 1 French Open, 2 AOs, 1 USO
Murray: 3 Wimbledons, 1 AO, 2 USO

Justification: I thought Federer was done last year but he done really well to win Wimbledon and maybe I'll be surprised again but I don't see it. Nadal's body will prevent him winning any more HC slams but 2 more French is a pretty safe bet and maybe another Wimbledon. Djokovic surely has to win a French Open and the Australian Open is his 2nd home. 3 Wimbledons is probably a little too optimistic, Nadal may get one more or Tsonga who is good on grass.
