I check the last players committed before the deadline and check whether they have a best rank or not. If I forget anybody I should be 28th.. (2nd on the alternate list in the MD)

Oh I see you check out the players' ranks yourself. I'm too lazy to do that I just wait on the game manager  But here I didn't really have to worry anyway thankfully! |

I'm just curious with something can someone please help. Am I allowed to play here if I'm in the qualies while still playing Davis Cup? I'm guessing not but I'm just not sure so can someone please help us out?

yes you can as far as this tournament is considered as a tournament which begins the week of the 4th of February..
It is what I find strange in MTF - if you really want to stick with reality. But that is rather good for players.
