Nole defends only Miami, while Fed defends Rotterdam, Dubai and Indian Wells, after which Nole defends runner-ups at MC and Rome, while Fed defends Madrid; NOle defends RG runner up, but Fed defends Wimbledon champion, also the Olympic points drop completely.
I think Fed would need some kind of superhuman effort to get back to #1 this year, to play like it's 2006 again, no way that happens. The only half-chance to hurt Nole was here and that's gone now. Rafa is way behind and has to defend 4500 points on clay/pretty much everything, I don't see him doing it either.
Murray is the only one who has some kind of chance if he really tears it up before Wimbledon, but he never did that great on clay, it would need a small miracle + shaky Rafa Bottom line, I think Nole is almost sure to get to 100 weeks at #1, after that who knows what can happen

Only if Murray wins Dubai, Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo and Nole doesn't play at all, he can pass Nole on the 22nd of April. Roger will stay the same even if he wins Dubai, Rotterdam and Indian Wells, because he won them last year. He's not playing Miami this year.
So it's practically impossible for Nole to lose his #1 before Wimbledon. Possible, but highly unlikely. Relax...
Nole has defended his slam title from last year, now the others will have to defend theirs just to keep up with Nole. The pressure is off, to a large degree.
My heart is bursting with joy!!
I was terrified of Nole being a slamless #1! I'm so glad it didn't happen.
Congrats to all my fellow Nole fans.

Thank for that.

I couldn't rep you for your post in GM, but it was rep worthy.
All this and you got a nice vacation in cancun too. Was it Cancun? I have that in my mind.

agree, that sounds like a good combo - after all, if it wasn't for kalisita, Nole would never have started the 2011 streak
was about to credit kalisita with also winning Nole's first slam, but sorry savesthedizzle (wealth of experience in cheering threads, dating back to 2005), it was definitely you at AO 2008

Hi Guys ... i might not coming here often but i just wanna share my joy with you all
( and i hope this is the right thread )
Yesterday was so amazing .. i was so happy and still am right now ..
i have friends that hating him so much, talked negative about him, always think that what happened to Nole was only because of luck and that makes me so upset...
Watching him yesterday lifted AO trophy once more made me so satisfied and wish i could punch my friend in the face D
