No, it would be more proper to say Ferrer won the title for Djokovic. We can't blame players for putting up a fight. We can only blame them when they roll over.

You mean, if only Molina would have not prevented him to serve it out

And for the record, I don't think that Novak deserves to be considered the GOAT, yet! He is far from the end of his career. But he has the potential to be considered one of them.
But neither Fed deserves that, despite all the titles, because of different opposition.
Once again for the record: Fed IS one of the GOATs, but not THE ultimate goat.
Djokovic rose to #1 following a harder path then Fed, if for nothing else, then for having Fed and Nadal in his way.
Please supply these "numbers" for your "proof".

No shit.

Also what does OP imply when OP says that Federer won the title for Novak? Is it that he was tired from the quarters?

Because in all honesty he shouldn't be tired from playing for 3 hours and 30 minutes, especially if he wants to win grand slams.

GOAT is so generous. I wonder if he'll win Roland Garros for Rafa this year.

Murray was playing a solid tiebreak up to the feather incident. Then Djokovic began to relax

Fed had no time machine because being number 2 isn't the same as Roddick & Hewitt number 2.

Nole won the match when he saved those 3 consecutive BPs in the second game of the second set. That's when I relaxed.

Novak had failed to convert 5 BPs in the 1st set, but Andy can't handle frustration as well as Nole. Not breaking when Nole was 0-40 was too tough for Murray to handle.

Federer won the title for Djokovic because Tsonga won the semi-final for Murray because Dodig won the fourth round for Tsonga because Nieminen won the second round for Gasquet because Haas won the second round for Dodig.

Tommy Haas basically won the Australian Open.
