if you take 2011 out of the picture, he has just won the least prestigious major three times

The only thing Becker and Edberg still have over Djokovic is career titles(Becker 49,Edberg 42 and Novak still 35),but Novak hasn't ended his career yet...
Apart from that and the same number of GS titles Novak is better in almost every stat including weeks as number 1,win/loss % or number of TMS titles...

yeah, what a loser.
if you take away all the slams he has won since 2008, he has won zilch.
let's do some more math!

Novak focuses on fewer, and mainly bigger tournaments these days. Ferrer won more tournaments than everybody else last year, and that didn't say much.

Re: Has Djokovic surpassed Stefan Edberg and/or Boris Becker?
It´s pretty close at the monment, but the whole comparison is pretty pointless, because it´s only a matter of time until Djokovic clearly passes them both, anyway. And it´s most likely going to happen this year. And this is coming from a huge fan of Edberg.

Becker and Edberg are long forgotten history, Djokovic has at least 5 good years ahead of him.

Re: Has Djokovic surpassed Stefan Edberg and/or Boris Becker?
If you compare them Djokovic has an edge over them, but soon Djoker will surpass even greater players than those 2.

Edberg and Becker are LEGENDS, People ! First of all Kids, I don't care what any of you haters think or have to say. I'm here because I am a Federer fan and this is where Fed fans go to try and support their Star Player and to talk Tennis. 2nd of all Kids, you are just like the rest of the immature attention seeking haters that come here just to talk
down Roger and find a few fans to engage with in your stupid attention seeking plight. I'm done dealing with you little punk@ss kids and reading your senseless drivel.

Re: Has Djokovic surpassed Stefan Edberg and/or Boris Becker?
Of course fans of a boring, mechanical game would only care about stats in a vacuum. True tennis is an art and Edberg was an artist. Fakervic may get a few more slams from Mugray and inherit some weeks at #1 compared to OldFed and KneeDal but he will never be a great player like Stefan. He inspired the GOAT Roger Federer, who in turn inspired a whole generation of up and coming players. And who will Fakervic inspire?
