I think the odds are short and dont represent value, at the same time I am still expecting him to win and there is completely no logic in me laying him. I have sat on the fence here with a small bet on Joker 3-1, I would consider more on the outright in running if the price got a bit better, does not look to be happening though.

Re: Andy Murrays Last stand Sunday
Ok a few quid on Joker now at 2.04, nothing mental but decent all the same.

It's not because you think Nole will win that you can't lay him ; you could back him at higher odds then trade. I don't understand your statement.

Re: Andy Murrays Last stand Sunday
Its straightforward enough. I think Joker will win but I was not confident enough to back at 1.5, added to that I was certainly not going to go against him by laying him. If the price got better (which it did) then I put a few quid on him. I also dont want to sit here trying to trade, I like to watch my match with my bet placed and I will usually only lay off if it goes down to maybe 1.05.
As it stands I have a bet on Joker to win 3-1 and another bet on him outright at 2.04, neither of them are anyway near as heavy as I was on Murray on Friday so I wont be too upset if it goes down, Friday would have hurt though.

I disagree, at least in a match like this, both players genuinely want to win as opposed to some challenger event where two Mickey Mouse wannabe players from Russia act the prick and fix matches.

Re: Andy Murrays Last stand Sunday
Good job Nole backers. I don't think Murray has any issues any more with gs finals but Nole was a different beast and more motivated. Murray could not sustain the same level throughout and he seemed more bothered and grumpy than his opponent. Their subsequent encounters in slams are gonna are gonna be interesting from now on though, as both are capable of winning at any given day.
