Re: M.Muzza.M Chat - Meltdown in Melbourne!
Andy's playing in the Afternoon again, and the newspapers are in an outrage that he'll go into the Semi's (if he wins) without having played a night match yet while Fed has played four night matches.
Kinda obvious Murray vs Frenchman unknown to most casual fans won't be a night match when there's Fed-Tsonga, but there we go. I'm just glad we have an excuse if things go pear shaped in the semis.. pheew.

Andy last Match about put me to sleep! I guess he is such a nice person he doesn't like to kick a man when he is down, but he should have blown an exhausted Simon clear off the court! He had better crank it up against Chardy who has surprised about everyone!

Well the women took longer than I expected. I thought this would be starting like 2 hours ago.

Re: M.Muzza.M Chat - Meltdown in Melbourne!
Some nice forehands in the last game of the 2nd (though Chardy double faulted to end it ). Hopefully we shall continue in this vein in the 3rd.

Re: M.Muzza.M Chat - Meltdown in Melbourne!
So that was reasonably convincing...he's going to "get an early night and hope that Roger and Jo play for 4 or 5 hours if possible."

Oh Andy, you're wishful thinking here.
But he played a sharp match. Now good luck in the semis against whoever it is you're playing.

Re: M.Muzza.M Chat - Meltdown in Melbourne!
Hmm neither Federer nor Tsonga look all that impressive to me right now. Just wanted to say that.

Re: M.Muzza.M Chat - Meltdown in Melbourne!
Murray was great and Federer average, looking promising

Liked the 'yes, come on, fuc**ng yes!' from Andy on winning the match. Love when Andy goes scalley, difficult to not appreciate when from another UK not (hot) spot East Manchester. Can't wait for Friday.

Re: M.Muzza.M Chat - Meltdown in Melbourne!
Friday can't come by soon enough. I see a brutal 5 setter..
Was hoping he'd tire Nole out but instead Ferrer did an awesome job of warming him up for the final. Didn't watch it, but I'm guessing he carried him out of the stadium on his shoulders as well.

I watched the semi and Novak was brutal. I would have him as the favorite to be honest.
But still, I would love to see Andy finally beat Roger in a Slam.

Re: M.Muzza.M Chat - Meltdown in Melbourne!
MTF is picking Murray to win.
Deep down I'm worried Murray hasn't had really tough opponents so far. Stupid Del Potro.
Fed hasn't looked great be he magically improves later in the tournament, and Any had series of inexplicable meltdown after being up a set or a 4-1 against Nole and Roger at the end of last year.
