I remember thinking 'how dare you be tired' the whole tourney I had grown to "accept it" come 2009 (and 2011, obvs)...

He battled 3 sets to beat Berdych before winning only 4 games vs Ferrer so I am not so sure. I knew he was not at the top of his game at that time.
I don't believe at current form, Ferrer will be able to beat Nole but anything can happen in a tennis match

Lee, Nole is going to be fine!! Poor Ferrer has nothing on him. If he managed to beat that Godrinka in 5 hours and then beat Berdych, he is not going to waste it all by losing to Ferrer.
And I promise to wake, although I think I will have to ask my mother to call me from work.

Re: Sculpting a victory: A Pygmalion Slogan for the Australian Open! SF v Ferrer
I'm hoping Roger beats Andy and then loses to Novak in the final. We need that H2H corrected.
I'm not underestimating Ferrer, but Nole should win the match, even if it's in tight sets.

Me too Yolita. I actually want Fed in the final, their matches are usually legendary.

Federer doesn't stand a chance vs Nole here. But same thing vs Andy, so that final is not going to happen

Re: Sculpting a victory: A Pygmalion Slogan for the Australian Open! SF v Ferrer
Fed could beat Murray here, if his serve clicks. Hopefully he does, because Nole will have an easier match against him than against Murray and that H2H certainly does need some correcting.
