Oh well, don't forget the pictures after that.

Re: Football Zone
Brilliant performance by Marchetti once again to restrict Juventus to one goal, and we nicked an away goal for good measure.
Still all to play for, but with home advantage, I'd be disappointed if Lazio didn't go through.

Good on Bradford for reaching the League Cup final. A team from the 4th tier eliminating 3 Premier League teams to reach a cup final is just incredible. I think the last time a 4th tier team reached a major English cup final was Rochdale in 1962.
Hopefully Swansea put their semi-final to bed to join them there.
Another late goal conceded by Blackburn to drop 2 points at home to Brighton. Finishing above Burnley will be a very tough ask this season, let alone reaching the playoffs.

Choking is a North London theme as Arsenal have also done it a lot themselves over the years; throwing away the 2003 title to Man Utd (they really should have won 3 titles in a row from 2002-2004), losing their nerve and failing to end their trophy drought in their 2011 league cup final against a poor Birmingham team, collapsing in 2008 and 2010 when it looked like they had a decent chance of winning the title, and a generally very poor record in big games in recent years.
They usually go on a great run from about February or so whenever their top 4 status appears to be under threat, so maybe they will do that again this year. Still Spurs look a lot more resilient this year.

Yeah they thought that the EPL was a franchise league like the top American sports leagues where teams couldn't be relegated. That's how clueless they are about football. I wish there were strong 'fit and proper' tests in place.
Everything they have done, from sacking Allardyce, who love him or hate him is the perfect manager for a small, unfashionable EPL team with modest expectations, has been wrong.
Forcing Kean to resign after we made a very good start to this season was also a mistake. They could have got rid of him either last season when we were struggling or during the summer after relegation. It was same with Middlesbrough and Southgate back in 2008.

Re: Football Zone
noticed Kean had to pay out of his arse for calling Allardyce a crook, perfect ending to his time there

He posted a few posts from the qualies, said he felt a bit sick and promised to do reports after he got some sleep. That never happened and it's been 10 days.
