What a great match. It was amazing to watch Almagro play at such a high level for so long despite the H2H. He and Wawrinka came to play and really got their mental game in order. Respect to both players and thanks for a great match.
This AO is AWESOME.

Yes, he looked down when he should not have. This is why 5 setters really separate the men from the boys and require herculean effort. So many start off strong, but time is the enemy in the slams, and like water, it will find each and every crack to seap through until there is a flood. Know and address your weaknesses or else.

You are so wrong. This is precisely why tennis is interesting -- the back and forth. Tennis is played by humans after all. What a great sport and metaphor for life.

One of the worst things I have ever seen in my life as a tennis fan. Tennis died when Ferrer won this match. RIP tennis.

I really though Amalgro would do it. But then when he got broken serving in the third, I knew what was coming. The second and third failed attempts just made it all the worse, and all the more compelling. Still, I look forward to seeing Ferrer versus Djokovic; both players are pretty match tough by now.

This makes tennis interesting?
Matches like Wawrinka vs Djokovic and Tsonga vs Federer make tennis interesting, not shit like this!

Props to Ferrer for hanging in there but he had no business winning this. Almagro gets a huge WTF from me.

Changes in momentum make it interesting. Ever notice a player's confidence start to grow by a single great shot? How does the other guy respond? Does his confidence start to erode, or does he meet the challenge? Ever suffer a setback in life and pull yer self up by your bootstraps? Ever take a dive in life of biblical proportions when you thought you had all your stuff together and that you were the shiznit? Same thing happens on the tennis court. Drama.....Yeah.
Who wants to watch machines play a perfect game?
Metaphors. They are all around you. Embrace them.

I get what u try to say, but momentums of 20 seconds are just awful and lame.
