If we go with that analogy then you must be a Mother Judy.

Re: AO R4: Novak Djokovic def Stan Wawrinka 1-6 7-5 6-4 6-7(5-7) 12-10
I'm no a Fed fan who wanted Djoko to be outplayed by Wawrinka, but...
few facts, IMO
- Djoko shouldnt have done any sign in that controversial situation (4-4 , 5th set). His gesture was clear, he tried to convince people or himself that it was out.
- Molina shouldnt have suggested anything to Stan, especially while the ball was clearly ON the line
- linesman has been sleeping, pity.
- Wawrinka could have taken challange and the point would have been replayed. Anyway, game could have been won by Novak.

Stan was really impressive and calling him choker isn't good after that match. He would have been choker if he hadnt won the 4 set. After 2nd set, I thought that it's over. But he showed great tennis and sacrifice.

yeah, but it has nothing to do with his origin.
i dont know how honest Djoko was, but he showed also good sportsmanship saying that Stan deserved the win.

Here's my take:
Players always make gesture to indicate the ball is out or not. Novak is not the only player doing this. Also, players make error in judging a ball is in or out. Otherwise, challenges would be successful 90% of the time (the 10% are for those challenges that players used to buy a bit time to breath or slow down opponents or near the end of the set, why waste it)
Molina believed the ball was out so he gave his opinion when Stan asked for it. If Molina believed the ball was in, he would have overruled it. Something he had done during the match. IMO, players should not be allowed to ask umpire for opinion before challenge, just like they could not check with their boxes beforehand.
The line calls are extremely bad this year for the whole tournament.

Re: AO R4: Novak Djokovic def Stan Wawrinka 1-6 7-5 6-4 6-7(5-7) 12-10
Just watched this match again and it's an absolute delight. This would be one of those matches you can watch 50 times if Wawa woulda won it, he's just so much better than Nole and it's still impossible to beat this guy on these courts. The last point is a perfect example, Nole takes control but Wawa with some brilliant baseline strokes takes control and just bombards Nole, Nole somehow manages keeps the ball in play and the second Wawa comes to the net Nole just ends it.
Wawa played such a ridiculous match I can't believe he lost it. Please please please Wawa keep playing like this, were seriously short of players who can give such an entertaining show.

Not sure why so many people bitch about that line call, even if umpire corrected that call, point would've been replayed and even if Wawrinka broke, he still would need to serve it out.
We know how second set ended when Wawrinka had 2 breaks lead in second set at 5-2.
All in all, Nole got lucky like any other player at certain points, but this situation was still far from foregone conclusion of Wawa's win to whine about it.

That's why Novak is underrated. He knew he wasn't smashing his serve and forehand enough but he kept cool.
Line call was no big deal. Davis Cup and Aussie Open outside courts which had no line challenges have stolen points from players who weren't playing Djoker. but no one complained about those.

So glad Nole won this, otherwise we'd have Mandy against Mugwrinka or Ferrer in finals, pretty much making this slam a joke.

Wawrinka is the moral winner of this slam anyway. The only one that came close to saving tennis.

Knowing Olderer, if Nole lost here and Mugwrinka went to finals he would beat Mugray even if he droped dead tired on court
