I don't know how long was the transit in Singapour The phone conference was made before 6 pm because the transcriptions were published around that time. Ask your uncle we never know.

The gathering is friday in RG so he has to be back in france. He was not able to be wednesday night watching Jo in Melbourne and friday morning in RG with players. It was not possible Arno make a very early gathering with Forget it was often on saturday. He wants surely talk with the players and prepare the tie with first training in RG. He has to tell the team to the players tuesday or wednesday so he has not a lot time to decide.

If it had been possible he would have stayed in Melbourne but he has to work with his staff. Roux is already back in France same for Quetin. Then He may be able to watch the Jo's match if he's arrived.

They have not so many time to adapt for indoor conditions. Richard and Bennet were still in Melbourne last days. Only Llodra had more time. I think there will be a lot of recovery work with fitness and physio before leaving for Rouen and a bit of tennis maybe some doubles Sela and Weintraud will be more fresh Well I dont' think it's a problem to leave Melbourne so early for Arno.

It's not that it's a problem (oui, il est habitué aux séjours express ), it's not that Tsonga and Chardy need him for their match, but I thought the captain would have liked to see his players to play big matchs.

I would pay to see Chardy Murray and Tsonga Federer !! (j'ai même pas eurosport...)

i think the captain would have seen enough of his players in melbourne (more than enough perhaps)

i'm just sorry that i don't think we will see his bandanas again when he's courtside

Imagine him on the chair with his bandana Well they're in Rouen Arno did the sparring for a double training. I post mainly the news in DC thread.

Then it seems there have been a change in the staff no more Christophe Gaillard as a physio but Corentin Ventre. Gaillard was the physio of PHM s maybe he stayed with him

A liitle hand injury for Arno

OMG he has improved over the years, yes. But not that much.
For Arnaud who's so talkative, it must be frustating to be so boring in itw !

The one after the first day is also funny anyway it's a better english than ten years ago http://www.daviscup.com/en/news/arti...-in-rouen.aspx

Many article and videos about that day I can't post all And so many in french so not easy. Here some interesting videos and a long interview of Arno by Viard from CanalPlus http://player.canalplus.fr/#/sport/tout-le-tennis-golf

A funny analyse in Le Parisien I mean this is a bit too much all this analyse about his behaviour on the chair Lafaix has been the coach of Stephane Robert and write book about tennis but I'm sorry guy you're telling some useless things and I never see you training a champion. I'm wondering what he would have said about Tarpishev.

And as usual the article in l'equipe

Quote:

« Si je me suis trouvé calme ?

This Ronan Lafaix is an idiot , his analysis is just ridiculeous !!
Today I watched the double, I had time to see Arnaud's behaviour on the chair, and he really makes me think of Forget in his way to be squatting in front of the players, they look pretty similar in the body language. Today it was an easy match, it will be interesting to see how he moves under pressure... well, next roung against Argentinia...in Argentinia: an excellent test !!!! lol

Yes the tie against Israel was not the best way to see which captain he is. He will not be as activ as a Forget on chair but the work of a captain is also before. Which player he put on court and all the preparation. Forget was a great captain on chair then maybe not the best in the choice of the teams Let's see in Argentina.
