Re: AO QF: Rested Djokovic takes care of a tired Berdych 6-1 4-6 6-1 6-4
lol still remember last year when people thought an in form Berdych would "destroy" Djokovic.
Djokovic slaps him in the face for a 2nd time at the AO.
Wawa,Birdman, and next will be Ferrer for a list of top players that can't get the better of Djokovic.
If Tsonga can get his shit together, IMHO, his chances against Djokovic are much better than his chances against Federer and Murray IMHO. His h2h record against Djokovic indicates a closer match. I'd rather see that match-up especially when Berdych/Ferrer/Wawrinka and other top players out of the top 4 don't come close to Djokovic at all.

i assume the egg you are talking about is the one berdych laid.
listless match. berdych is only inspired when playing against the weak and the old.

CVAC Pod cost is $75.000 USD . Every top 10 tennis player can afford it.
It seems that you and some other guys here, cant accept the simple truth that Djokovic is now best player on tour.

“Does Djokovic resemble myself?” Agassi said. “No, he is even better. He defends really well, while I struggled more in that element of the game. Novak looks totally relaxed when defending, completely calm and the quality of his return is incredible. He is also extremely flexible in his game, which is facilitated by his ability to anticipate his rival’s moves. That is why I think he is a much more versatile player than I was and he is also much more athletic.”

Re: AO QF: Rested Djokovic takes care of a tired Berdych 6-1 4-6 6-1 6-4
Berdy was very meh. Almost as if this was some 250 sf, and he couldn't get interested. Of course that's not the case, but very strange attitude, little intensity to his game.
Djokovic should have won in straights, totally asleep in the 2nd, but really very routine.
Naturally he was completely fresh, did anyone think otherwise after last year? Maybe if it went 10 hours.

Other than the first set, Nole wasn't too impressive imo. Still, at least he's through and will be ready to get rid of Ferrer.

Re: AO QF: Rested Djokovic takes care of a tired Berdych 6-1 4-6 6-1 6-4
I predicted Djoker in 4 due to him suffering a concentration lapse either early in the 2nd set or the 3rd set.
This match lasted exactly half as long as his previous 5 set epic against Stan, nice to see Nole moving well and hitting the ball so cleanly.
Berdych - good job keeping his nerve in the last game of the 2nd set - tricky situation he was in, so he deserved to win that 2nd set. He defended his points once again here, hope he now has a good rest and he is so lucky he gets to go home to be with his hot girlfriend (Ester Satorova )
Will be a grindfest on Thursday night in the semis against Pics, and it's going to be 37 degrees, lets see who handles the conditions better.

Tsonga's game is the best suited to beat Djokovic out of the big hitters. Whereas Berdych's suits Federer's best and Del Potro arguably Nadal's.

Just shows how well he played that set though, shame he couldn't keep it up.
Either way I said when the draw came out I would like a QF with him taking a set off Novak and that's exactly what I got. 2013 looking good!

NID.
Berdych would lose this match even with leading 60 60 50.

combination of good offense and defense worked.
Nole is all round player. Agressive baseline all round player.
