All the evidence points towards nole winning future slams, I just have had this niggling feeling that I can't explain that he won't. I don't dislike Novak, so I hope I am wrong.

now ur much more clear

There is no one in his quarter that is going to beat him. He'll have to have an bad day to drop 3 out of 5 sets to anyone before the SF.
What Roger does from the SF stage on is debatable...but please, pencil Fed into the SF now. Put Nole in the Final. Also looking forward to a Delpo-Murray QF that should be awesome.

But people do have better days and worse days. Even Roger. And people improve or lose form. If everyone played the exact same level every match we would not need to actually play the tournament.
However, even without playing 100%, a player like Roger can still will. Partly because he so rarely drops far off his 100%.
Playing 100%, and without an amazing lift by an opponent, Roger will will all of the lead up matches. But with high level opponents, capable of great games even if they are not consistent, there is the chance of an upset. And if there is a chance of an upset every round- then the odds add up. Just because he SHOULD win each match, does not guarantee he will win all of them.
People with easier draws have matches they can bring 80% of their game and still win comfortably. They get a rest.

Re: Fed's QF streak has ended.
Roger nearly lost to Falla at WIM 2010 in the first round, but honestly there shouldn't be any problems for him here, his toughest opponent is a potential meeting with Tsonga in the QF, but even that looks like it won't be too difficult given Tsonga's injury issue. I'm tipping a Fed v Murray SEMI for the first time ever!

Re: Fed's QF streak has ended.
At first I thought this thread was just another scared little Fedfan, but it's legit now. Tomic is a definite threat here. He clearly isn't scared. He may be cocky but he is confident too.

The hillarity of this thread is the fact it was made by a fedtard, and there was a big smell of butthurt by them as well.

I think we should put some of these embarrassing quotes in our signatures. How many times and over how many years have doubters been burned again and again...

Federer on to the semi-finals against the highlander. Federer screwed up my prediction that Tsonga would win in the QFs. Roger can't beat Murray any more, can he?

I think the thread starter just meant that he's starting a new SF streak .

Already forgot what happened at WTF? After losing the last group match badly to DelPo, nobody wanted to believe that Federer would beat Murray in SF and they already started having the dream of a Nolandy final. But then what happens... I guess you know. Federer still beat Murray and that was with a classy performance.
So anything can happen. Federer can beat Murray more than once.
