Aw, I'm glad he's outperformed his doubles result for once . I really didn't think he'd win a round, so I guess I'm OK with a loss to Roger  .

Well Aaron, I guess you have no choice but to be okay with a loss to Roger  It's not like there is a huge chance of it being Roger's last match of this year's US Open (unless miracles do happen......  )

The 5-set format still suits him because of his good fitness clearly  . But I wonder when he'll hit top form again. Oh well, Malisse next. Could be another tough one. Malisse did quite well in Auckland .

Just watching the end of Fer's first match. Goffin is a talented player. Good to see Fer digging in and the forehand looks in fine form!
