Re: Federer outsmarts Dangerdenko 6-3 6-4 6-4
Nicely done by Fed...a potentially dangerous opponent disarmed in energy conserving fashion. All good.
As ever, there are a lot of quite critical appraisals of Fed's early round performances...c'est la vie. Davydenko came out blazing but wasn't allowed to get it done today. Fed held the baseline tight and made Davy come unstuck by giving it back faster and harder than even "playstation" could handle. Too many UE's obv....but he is still playing himself into form. It was never anything other than a comfortable progression.
Next up: Tomic the Tank Engine.

Re: Federer outsmarts Dangerdenko 6-3 6-4 6-4
This is a pretty easy draw for Federer imo. Davydenko is well past it, Tomic is no threat to him, Fed will routine him like last year then it's either Raonic or Kholschrieber. Well either one of those 2 will lose most likely in 4 sets and then a potential qtr final against Tsonga who looks a little under done (maybe he'll pick up form) he didn't look too impressive today. The only really tough part is the semi final. Murray could prove to be very tough for Fed especially considering it's a SF and not final and Murray has confidence he can take 3 sets off Fed now. The final will most likely be against Novak where if he gets through Murray he'll most likely lose to Nole since he's never taken a set off Novak since AO went plexicushion.

What. I have no opinion on Roger's outfit today. However - while I'm not into this "boys and girls are alike in every single way if not for society" nonsense - I think guys can wear clothes of any color. Besides, light blue, pink and purple does not always look bad on men. (And before you ask, yes I'm straight.)
Now that I think about it, didn't Roger win Toronto or something a couple of years back with a pink shirt?

Wow how early Fed did take the balls . I still have not see a match like that at AO this year.
Those old guys obviously could play in different way

What a joke.Mugdenko is a first class loser.I'm not sure what I want now,Tomic to beat Muger and end his QF streak or Djoko King to straight set him in the final. What would hurt more?I don't know,I really don't know.

They were overdoing it a little. Also said Roger was in fine form when he played average except for the serve.

Re: Federer outsmarts Dangerdenko 6-3 6-4 6-4
since the first break and after seeing every Denko game is breakeable started the training session.
That's why Roger doesn't need preps before GSs, coz he does'em in the first few rounds.
Tomic will get tornadoed.

It is easy compared to what really?
We analyse who could possibly be more dangerous than Davydenko in rd2?
I look beyond the 32 seeds and I find only Benneteau who is anywhere close to that dangerous, mostly because of matchup issues.
Who is more dangerous than Tomic to face in rd3? No one.
Who is more dangerous than Raonic in rd4? Specially considering that every match between them have been close, maybe Gilles Simon would be worse but that is the only one I could think of.
Who is more dangerous than Tsonga in QF? Only Berdych for Federer.
Muray is 10 times more dangerous than Ferrer.
So this is the most difficult draw you could give Federer if you handpicked his opponents, except changing Tsonga with Berdych. It is not an easy draw.

If he is first class loser, what does this mean?
