Yeah, Monaco was giving the match as quick as he can, but Andrey was just getting tighter specially on serve. I think Monaco just didn't want a bagel. This is tanking to it's finest.

He should have just skipped the Australian Open and gave it to someone that is fit enough to play. He was contemplating on not playing in the AO.

Waste of a trip then! What's the point of going if the heart's not in it?

I don't know either. It was because of his injury, he didn't know if it will be okay for him to play. He usually gets frustrated like when Nadal demolished him you know that he was getting annoyed, here there was no reaction or emotion when he was being railroaded.

Watched a little bit of the match (it was broadcasted in Argentina instead of Ferrer... I was a little pissed).
Monaco played really bad, but Andrey played a pretty decent match, and i'm really happy with that

There are no words to describe Kuznetsov's luck. Only 3rd Top-100 win over the last 52 weeks win for him -- two of them came via retirements and now he "beats" injured Monaco.

Yes, hand injury during the off-season, but he seemed to get a back injury from the past few days.
