Default Aussie Open R1: Lacko def. Muller 6-2 6-4 7-6(3)

Lacko continues in solid results, after QF showings in Doha and Auckland he is now in R2 in Australian Open.

Slovak started strong and hadn't lost a point on his serve for the first 6 service games, until he lost 5 points in 2nd set. 3rd set was quite up-and-down, Lacko was up 5-3 w/break after fighting 4 Muller's breakpoints. At 5-4 he got broken (had one MP) and at 5-6 was happy to get to the tiebreak after deuce.

In TB it was one way road for Lacko and now he plays Tipsarevic or Hewitt in second round.

Good one Mugger

Poor Rafael ran as fast as he could, but it was the talent which he lacked and not the fight. All fight and no talent is the name of Nadull.

Roger & Pete - Offensive all-court genius. Nadull - Defensive pusher.

If Nadull had an argument for GOAT, it's that he got so far with no talent. It's like dragging a dying weasel across a long road. He gets there, but it's an ugly sight to behold. Nadull is a classless cheat, and a pretender.

Roger Federer(on Nadull): "He's one-dimensional, he always plays the same way."

Easy. Lacko was in full control of the match until the end of the 3rd. But still, Muller never really had a chance in this one, Lacko was holding the serves too comfortably. 2nd round vs Tipsarevic will be completely different story as Tipsarevic is a great defensive player. But seriously, that match is gonna be huge for Lacko when you look further in the draw. I can see a chance there.
