Default Australian Open R1: Harrison d. Giraldo 2-6 6-4 7-5 6-4

Djokovic (probably) next. I swear Harrison is so unlucky with his Grand Slam draws. With a bit of luck he would make a 3rd round easily.

Unluckiest up-and-comer ever. Meanwhile, guys like Berankis and Williams are among guys like Stakhovsky and Mayer.

For Harrison, the fact that he's meeting Djokovic in the second round is like catching a break.

Hope he plans early return-flights during majors.

Giraldo is so terrible. Didn`t he have a break lead early in all 4 sets? To lose 3 of them is just

Terrible mentality, he's really gonna have to step it up to prove MTF right about him winning the french

Giraldo had 4*-2 in the 3rd set, yet lost it 5-7, unbelievable

that's nothing, was up 4-2 in the 4th and I think he was up 3-1 or 4-2 in the 2nd but I'm not 100% sure on that

From what I saw and, watching the final stats too, seems like this was on Giraldo's racquet for the most part. So weak mentally in the crucial points and basically handed the match in the end. Needs to step it up soon, big wasted opportunity once again.

It's too early to tell, but with Nadal still in doubt I don't see anyone who can really challenge him at the french.

This result pleases me. Harrison vs djoker is way more interesting (not that it means much but still)7
