A lot of 1997 juniors in the USAF1 Q. Good luck but doubt any of them will qualify.

All of the 1997 juniors are now out of the tournament, but I was impressed that Alex Rybakov managed to get 9 games from Kyle Edmund. Great job Alex

The USTA announced today the names of the four girls and four boys selected to travel to Europe for the Aegon Teen Tennis tournament in Bolton, England and Les Petits As tournament in Tarbes, France.
The Bolton tournament begins January 14th and runs through January 20th, with Les Petits As the 21st through the 27th.
The girls traveling with USTA coach Leo Azevedo are CC Bellis, Jaeda Daniel, Michaela Gordon and Claire Liu 12.

The boys traveling with USTA coach Andy Brandi are Patrick Kypson, Noah Makarome, Sam Riffice and Gianni Ross.
The US boys have had great success recently in both events. Francis Tiafoe swept both singles titles last year, defeating Michael Mmoh in Bolton and William Blumberg in Tarbes. The US also won both doubles titles in 2012. In 2011, Stefan Kozlov won Teen Tennis and Henrik Wiersholm won Les Petits As.......

Francis won in a tight three sets. Considering this, I don't like his chances against the same boy that beat him easily last week  But hopefully he will prove me wrong

USA F2 Q is out. A lot of 1997 juniors here including Taylor Fritz who is making his debut.

In the Copa Baranquilla Michael plays Alejandro Tabilo in the first round and Francis plays Juan Pablo Gil. Good luck.
