Re: Fed's QF streak has ended.
Ay, ay, ay. Where is the "Congrats Nole on your 4th AO" thread? I want to give my regards.

I agree, I still think Rogie will beat Mugray (or Del Potro possibly) in the SF and face Djokovic in the F. Will it perhaps be a little bit of a tougher road to the F than I thought it would be, yes, but Rogie can still definitely make the F.

Re: Fed's QF streak has ended.
Fed's draw aint that bad.
Paire: Mug.
Davydenko: Loses to Dickie Gasquet
Tomug: Overrated mug.
Raonic: The surface don't really suit his game.
So he makes quarters with relative ease.
Clownga: Aint losing to him here.
Then it gets harder.
Murray/Delpo: Both tricky customers on this surface.
Djokovic: The ultimate test.
So I think he makes semis for sure. Then JesusFed needs to show up and Goderer in the final if he wants to win #5.

Re: Fed's QF streak has ended.
The thing about Roger's draw is the whole package. After the 1st round he will have to work hard in every match.

wrong. Berdych is much tougher for Fed than Tsonga nowadays.

Interesting. Thought AO didn't start until next week. Lost all track of time.

I agree, Berdych gives Rogie more trouble than Tsonga overall. I think Rogie will make his 25th grand slam final and 6th at the AO.

The surface suits his game fine; his breakthrough was here 2 years ago, getting to round 4. It's more that his form has been awful since he lost the Tokyo final to Nishikori last fall.
But a big server is always dangerous. If you can't break him, it comes down to a point or two in the TB. Or you get frustrated and get broken yourself, and there goes the set.

Fair enough. I just think his game is better suited for faster surfaces. The slower surface takes pressure off when facing Raonic in those point or two moments you talk about. It just gives the opponent that little more time. Maybe the get a racquet on a big serve or to run an approach down. I'd be more worried if Roger faced him at Wimby or the USO.

Re: Fed's QF streak has ended.
Fedtards believe Roddick and Ljubicic were number 2 & 3 players because they served 130 mph.

I still do not understand why people keep calling him 30 years old?

Re: Fed's QF streak has ended.
Davydenko is a tough matchup but this may be the last time they meet in a slam (maybe the last time they meet on court). Even though Donkey is a fraction of the player he was at his peak, I still enjoy his matches and seeing two of the most talented players ever finish a great rivalry will tug at the heartstrings. Let's thank Tony for fixing that matchup in the draw at least.
