WWW ? Auckland SF : Ferrer - Monfils
I was skeptical about Gael's form after injury but beating an in-form Haas is an enough evidence.
Vulture, on the other hand, found himself in the semi finals thanks to his mental headcase opponents.
But Gael is not one of those guys. Talent-wise, he's ten times better than Vulture so it will all come down to him being motivated or not. I guess he will be.
No more vulturing this week. Gael in 2.

Fit monfils obviously has no problems with Ferrer, but I don't think he's quite there yet.

This is a H2H that requires more examination. All three matches were best-of-5 matches taking place in France (2 FO, 1 DC) and two of those matches went five sets. Gael knows he can't be a clown against Ferrer.
I'm picking Ferrer in 3. Gael is not physically ready for this match.

Shouldn't be a problem despite the H2H. Monfils is not Davydenko.

Monfils better win this tournament now, with his two ultimate pigeons Ferrer and Kohli lined up for him in semis and final. If he doesn't, it will be a sign that he's not yet fully fit for AO.

If Lu can take a set off Ferrer than Gael can beat him I dont care if he isnt at full strength yet. He beat Kohlschreiber and Haas and they are no scrubs.
