Just cause he talks to him doesn't mean that they are talking about their games, Roddick just probably gives him advice.

Based on the way Harrison's game has been going in the last year and a half it appears Roddick's influence is creeping in to his game. I also think the temper thing is a key problem that Roddick had as well.

I don't know who you all are watching. It's clear to me that Harrison plays much better when he's more emotional-and he's gotten much less so since he started playing worse

Re: Sydney QF: Benneteau def. Harrison 6-4, 6-2
Harrison is an average player, built up to be something he's not cause the US have no male player to hype anymore.
Top 30-40 is his level at best.

I don't find the field is so low..
I mean Anderson is a really good player in this time. Tomic is clearly under-ranked comparing to his level. Seppi & Granollers as member of the TOP30. This is not too bad for a tournament just a week before a Grand Slam.

Like most young players have this issue, then they mature, well not all do of course.

Re: Sydney QF: Benneteau def. Harrison 6-4, 6-2
If Harrison keeps listening to that has been Roddick he will never be anything more than top 40 player. How in the hell can he take advice from such a player as Andy Roddick who was a terrible competitor the last 3 years of his career. This is so disappointing - if Harrison keeps letting his fans down like he did tonight he is going to lose them quickly.

It's sad that his 2010 was better than 2011, if he doesn't do better this year he'll end up like Donald Young.

The main thing for Ryan is to get stronger, he just can't compete physically on tour right now, in a couple years he should be alright.

harrison also hired some rookie coach aside from his father for a one-year contract. Papa harrison stays at img while this guy will be following ryan.
Minimal expectations for the year, but I'm sure the arrogance and overconfidence will be there.
I loved those shanks today and without even letting the ball land, he goes, "towel now."

I disagree completely. The main thing with Ryan is his court positioning. He'll never be as talented as gasquet so loping around the back of the court trying to hit winners over the high part of the net is an even worse strategy for him.

Better to wait 2 weeks before making such a call. Tomic has a lot of ranking points at risk with the Aust Open so I would guess if Tomic does not deliver in the next 2 weeks he will be lowest ranked of the three. If Tomic does deliver on the other hand he could be the highest, so for the sake of two weeks we can get a real idea of where the three really stand.

Doesn't matter as much if you physically aren't up to it.
