Liverpool FC need to return to the good old days when the players were born and bred locally. Dalglish, Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Lawrenson, Hansen, Grobelaar, Toshack, Molby ........ or were they just the Chelsea of the 70's buying the best talent available in the market?

Re: Football Zone
That was quite a bizarre ten minutes of football right there in the Lazio-Cagliari match. First Abdoulaye Konko equalises for Lazio, and then a few minutes later they get a penalty and Agazzi is sent off for Cagliari. What's more, Andrea Cossu is then dismissed for dissent, and Cagliari had effectively thrown a winning position away, and made sure of it by being reduced to nine men. Antonio Candreva of Lazio, who's been nothing short of excellent this season, tucked the penalty away for good measure.
I'm all for those Eagles. Really hope thet they get at least Champions League football for next season.

Bogus penalty for me and certainly a bogus red card for the keeper.

Re: Football Zone
^ Perhaps, but at least we got the 3 points.
Udinese absolutely ripping Internazionale apart. 3-0 right now, but it's been made a great deal easier for them with Juan Jesus being sent off. No surprise Toto is amongst the goals.

Re: Football Zone
The gap is reduced to 5 points after Juventus lose against ten man Sampdoria.

Re: Football Zone
Disgusting from Mourinho. I bet he is provoking to get fired just to collect the money. Always defended him but this is disgraceful

Re: Football Zone
So that's what the secret talks between Mourinho and Adan were about
Great goalie, definitely deserves his place in the first team.
