Hey Sham.

Frasier! Up until season 7, that is. After that, the writers just made a complete pigs ear of it with all the Daphne/Niles/Mel crap, and I felt it just became another formulaic American comedy after that. Which pained me greatly, given the high standard of writing and performances of earlier seasons.

I'm the same way. It's just that over the NY's holiday, they kept repeating it here, so I got to catch a couple of episodes.

Mae, have you seen the new Sherlock Holmes series called "Elementary"? Me like. Modern, but not in-your-face modern like "Sherlock" with Benedict Cumberbatch, and very down-to-earth but still engaging.

Yeah, it was pretty much the comedic form of art in the first 4 or 5 seasons. They couldn't quite figure out how to wrap it all up at the end, and times and tastes were moving forward from when it first started.
