Re: Look, you know, our draws are not rigged they are just unlikely. (pt3)
I just came here to wish all my fellow Nole fans a very happy new year.
At least from the tennis point of view, I'm sure we'll all have a great year. I've been watching Nole in Abu Dhabi and in Perth and he's looking good.
My best wishes for 2013 for all of you.

Happy New Year again to all the Europeans here!
Still some hours to go here.
I went out to do a bit of shopping and returned one of the things I bought before Christmas but decided not to gift it. It's a zoo out there. Even busier than Christmas eve

Happy New Year everyone! Make sure 2013 is a better year for you than 2012, because I will be doing so for sure!

Damn me for not reading back well enough. How was Les Misérables? We have to wait until the 11th to see it, but maybe that's a good thing, considering what some people are saying about it.

Here's the thing.
If you love Les Miserables already, you will probably love it. I love it, I love the songs, so I loved it and all my friends who have seen it also loved it
I generally hate Anne Hathaway with a passion, but after that performance, I can't anymore.
BUT, I have heard some people who don't like it either because they seem to not understand that everything is sung, it's not like.. dialogue with a few songs thrown in... or some people who don't know the story already can't follow it. Though my mom said the movie actually was easier for her to follow than the play

I love Les Misérables, it's definitely one of my favourite musicals, and I'm really into that kind of thing.
A lot of people said that the singing isn't very good. Especially from Russell Crowe, and by the sounds of the trailer, they're right.

I don't know how or why - well I do really - but I've ended up seeing 'The Hobbit' three times already!

Yes Russell Crowe is weak. Very weak.
But the Hobbit THREE TIMES?!?!?! are you a huge fan of the Hobbit? Or LOTR? Or Peter Jackson? Or all?

With regards to Les Mis. I like the look of all the cast (don't know what Borat is doing in the film, though?). They certainly fit the visual criteria very well. But I've heard that only Anne Hathaway as Fantine can really sing. Crowe and Amanda Seyfried ( ) were the most criticised cast members in the vocal department. Maybe I'm wrong?
Well, I do like the Hobbit and LOTR but certainly not that much. It's just I don't like to say 'no' when people ask me to go with them to the cinema. So I've ended up seeing this three times with different groups on each occasion.
