Re: Vasek Pospisil
Frédéric Fontang, former Chardy-coach, has accepted Canadian Federation's request to work with Vasek from the 5th of december, he will be with him several weeks in the year, esp. in big tournaments, says that Vasek only speaks a little bit French, probably they will communicate in English although I'm not sure of Fontang's English level :

Thanks for that, hope he's a decent coach.

he was the one who brought Chardy to the top-level and he looked good in that time, he and Chardy broke up for money concerns apparently.
In the interview he says he wanted to coach a foreign player then I guess his English must be good enough
But Chardy is his only top-level coaching experience so far.
As a player, Fontang reached number 59 in the world in the beginning of the 90s, he was mostly a claycourt player with little power.

Re: Vasek Pospisil
To sum up Vasek's season: awful.
Lets face it.. this player is a journeyman, and will continue to be a journeyman. Nothing will ever change.

well i came back early..(think i was back early last year too, lol).
in any case as my first post back i feel depressed this is the first one that i saw.
you need to shut up and get out of here if this is all your going to say about him. I might not be waving a pospisil flag when i see him either but still i've got enough sense to realise and admit he's more than a journeyman.

abandoning the time-wasting of Twitter is not necessarily a bad thing.
But yeah, would like to know what's going on with him.

Maybe it's a good thing. I doubt he would have qualified anyway, with his current form. This way he can practice and get better instead. Seems like the right strategy to me.

I agree. Since he isn't going to win the calendar year grand slam it would be a good thing for him to just stop playing and spend the rest of his life practicing. That, or just save us all the time and retire.
