The rich still pay taxes, which is better than no income. If they weren't here then the ordinary Joes would have to pay even more. Never got those complaining about that. I don't mind the rich people here, that's for sure.

Just came back from the dentist. What a shock. An entire row of teeth need to be capped (well, it's 3 caps + 1 bridge) and it'll cost a bloody fortune and you get nothing back from social security because those caps are for 'esthetic reasons" so not refundable.
I'll be in the dentist chair listening to the annoying sound of drills for about 2 hours. Pfffft.

I figure that the dentist was planning his skiing holiday when he saw me: "Ah, my Christmas bonus just walked in.".

Another shock: I actually still have teeth that are untouched and strong. I thought that they were all filled.

He's still that sweet man, yes. Another 3 years or so and I'll need to look for a new dentist for whom I can pay his/her Christmas bonus with thanks to my crap quality teeth.

My brother-in-law went to the dentist after me and so, my sister was already aware of the news. She came to pay me a short visit with a huge grin on her face (schadenfreude ). When she saw my face and heard my reaction: "I had other plans for that money", she said: "well, look at it this way: be glad that you can afford these things"

True, but still...it's a small fortune, dammit.
