..come on, regardless of whether one dislikes the mods or not, Snowwy isn't the only mod and I'm not sure how you read that post to mean all mods don't on the MTF often.

I think posts like this should be a banable offence.
I'm sure I'm at least 2% stupider for having read it.

Apparently he's not sure whether the other mods visit MTF (often) during the off season, which would explain them not being aware of the contest.
Are we supposed to believe this?

there are not "more bans than ever before" -- the list for temporary banned users is actually quite short in comparison to a few months ago.
And the awareness of the contest is irrelevant. They don't have to act differently because a contest is on.
It's not like Groove was diligent in opening and closing voting threads on time and reporting results anyways. Or counting votes correctly, apparently, going by that whole Deathless Mortal thing.
So anyone could stand in for him and it wouldn't hurt the "integrity" of the contest (might improve it, actually).

it is for your 2nd account. But your original account gets a 3 month ban as sort of a warning when it happens the first time

Re: 2012 MTF Popularity Contest News Thread
The users Manon and Chooper were also banned in a rush two years ago and never had the time to explain themselves.
The way moderators ban in this place is weird, it is so sudden you dont even feel guilty. And usully when you feel guilty (say bitter things to other people, do other ermm things), they dont ban you.
Snowwy is a bit scary he speaks with some superiority i have snowwyfobia
I think the moderators here need a public relations persona to talk for them, someone like Nathaliia or, lets say, cobalt60, for example, warm and nice, that could make us feel guilty for doing bad things and feel sorry we disrupted this place. the same way a minion would say to his master. " I am sorry, whip me, love you master"

Freakyfool was being his normal self so he unsurprisingly got permabanned.
JohnnyGroove got temp banned for having a duplicate account. Everyone is playing the guessing game at trying to figure out which it was.
Tripwires won the contest.
Other random temp bannings.

I don't see why he couldn't, if the rules say no double accounts, how difficult it is to use just one?

For the good of the forum.
Thats how you control people, you give them circus.
Sorry if I deleted before, I dont like to show my power hungry face too much, but anyway, if its a mistake he will be back.
If it isnt, then it was just an advice to increase mods popularity

I never understood why people had double accounts, it makes no sense for me.

given the fact some mods write dozens of posts from their twitter accounts daily, if they are unable to open MTF (this includes NT) at least twice a day, it means they should simply resign from the job and no one will surely cry
just like someone to step up for JG would actually improve the contest (to all fairness Kat made a bitter but good point here ), some more caring people would improve the quality of moderating
i really hope we will all receive satisfying proof of Johnny's DA
this was my last post on that topic, fortunately i have real life problems these days
===================
in fact, just came to write
congrats trip viruzzz (the winter belongs to viruses anyway )
