Re: Richard Gasquet's Grand Slam R4 Win/Loss Record.
His 'talent' is not of the type that wins him tennis matches. Sure his game may look good to the eye, but it's not a weapon that can hurt players.

Re: Richard Gasquet's Grand Slam R4 Win/Loss Record.
Worth a bump since he lost yet another R4 match this year.
What a joke of a player, couldn't even beat a Tsonga playing like utter shit.

More an artist than a competitor. Not durable, not a tough character, and in best of 5 sets that's not often gonna end well.

What a joke player Birdscat is, getting destroyed 6-3, 6-3 by the player you are tearing down and trailing the h2h 3-5 now.

Well, every streak finishes one day. Gasquet will be in RG-13 quarter, book it.

What a joke player Federer is, failing to convert 5 match points by the player you are tearing down.

Why do you bring Federer into every thread? I wasn't tearing Berdych down, it was a response to a silly post. Federer leads the h2h 11-6 anyway so it's not even close.

Why did you bring Berydch into it when there was no need?
Of course one rule for you, another for every one else

Yes, if Rafa is #5 and Richie #9. Though I hope Gasquet will be seeded #8 by the time RG comes. He will have decent clay season.

He's still bitter about Berdych stopping Federer's cakewalk draw to Olympic Gold in Athens.

Re: Richard Gasquet's Grand Slam R4 Win/Loss Record.
I agree it's a shame that Gasquet has failed so often at this stage, in some cases he has had his chances though.
it could be because of lack of physical longevity in a match, limited power in his game, and/or his brain just collasping in high pressure moments.
but make no mistake he is very talented.
if he got a bit fitter and/or better mentally he could easily flip the script
all and all just the fact that he made SO many second weeks in grand slams is impressive despite the hating on this site, many players would die for a Gasquet like career
it's sad he's been unable to take it a step further, sure, but as far as tennis ages in the current generation are concerned, he is not that old and still will have chances

Re: Richard Gasquet's Grand Slam R4 Win/Loss Record.
His coach has screwed him up. He stands too far behind the baseline and has no forehand.
