Re: Ferrer Named Spanish Player Of The Year
Ferrer is a great, scrappy player and I'm glad he was recognized but Nadal deserved the honor. He won Roland Garros for the 7th time (amazing) and then played the epic match with Djokovic in Australia. Kudos to Ferrer on a career year, but Rafa would have been the more deserving recipient IMO.

Re: Ferrer Named Spanish Player Of The Year
They're obviously being nice.
Even sitting out half of the year, Nadal's results still trump his minion's.
Pointless award, though, for the most part.

Seriously, Nadal got injured and missed half the season -- how can that be the best thing to happen to Spanish tennis this year?? Giving it to him this year would make no sense.

Re: Ferrer Named Spanish Player Of The Year
This obviously has to do with representing spain vs representing yourself. He crushed the shit-talking Czechs, stopped Isner's run (Def Federer, Simon, Tsonga), and he represented Spain in the olympics.

Yet 3 of my favourites won Gold (Murray), Silver (Tsonga) and Bronze (Del Potro). As for Berdych he won Davis Cup which makes up for his appalling grass court season.
Seriously though I don't see how representing his country in the Olympics should be a reason he won this award at all, several Spaniards represented their country.

definitely becoming something like trolling mentor. I am too old already to waste time and creativity to troll the threads. From now will just be opening the threads, give a bait and evaluate the skills of my students. The best ones will get authorization to share my thoughts in moments when I am banned
