Enjoy the cast on your thumb 
star and Raquel, still no Christmas lights pic. Again, it was late by the time I finished dinner with relatives and I had to accompany my mom and her aunt home.
My body is in Hong Kong but my head/mind is somewhere above Siberia, I think. I can hardly focus on anything and I am sick and tire of eating out when there is no escape from it. I hate eating out because the restaurant foods here are either very salty or loaded with MSG.  It's just too mich  |

Too much salt ruins food for me. I'm less tolerant of both salt and sweet the older I get.
Although Jess, I have never been able to tolerate sugar in coffee. They used to put sugar and milk in coffee when I was a child, and I never liked coffee until I had it black. Now I like a tiny bit of vanilla syrup in an iced coffee. Isn't it funny how we taste things differently? For me sugar in hot coffee makes it bitter. I can detect even 1/4 teaspoon in a cup of coffee. Horrible to me  |

Interesting 
I don't like a lot of salt either. My dad just dumps it on, it's ridiculous. I absolutely never use a salt shaker However the chef/my mom means for something to be seasoned is fine for me But my dad without even TASTING THINGS FIRST will automatically just dump salt on it. Yuck.

I don't think it's particularly tasty or anything, but boy, it sure keeps me alert. I tried Red Bull before, but I just don't like the taste, so coffee is my main caffeine source, whenever I need it most.
I don't feel like I'm missing out, though. Having a good coffee machine would be nice, but I only drink it when I need to.

Do you ever go out to eat with someone and agree to share an order of French fries and then the other person without even asking dumps salt all over them?
I knew a guy who salted everything without tasting and said it was because he liked the flavor of fresh salt. He salted everything though -- even watermelon. |
