I'm not too sure that too many people would visit the Doubles Forum in the off season, but just in case...

As the title suggets, this thread is for doubles teams you would want to watch(preferably those who have not played together before). The players could include singles players and retired players. Even mixed doubles teams if you wish to. If possible please give your reasons too.

Here is a few for me:
1)Nestor/Paes : My two favourite doubles players.
2)Gasquet/Federer : My two favourite singles players.
3)Murray/Djokovic : (again)Just because of that epic point.
4)Stepanek/Llodra : Specifically them against Granollers/Lopez for the stark contrasting styles
5)Karlovic/Isner : Servebot team. Could have a few good results.
6)Dolgopolov/Flo Mayer : epitome of an unorthodox team.
7)Bopanna/Paes : Just to see the tension between the two
8)Zimonjic/Nielsen : Not sure why
9)Rajev Ram/Sampras : Need I say more?
10)Federer/Dimitrov : Need I say more?

Karlovic and Isner played together once and lost their only match if I remember correctly. They just have been atrocious on serve that day..

Perhaps Raonic/Isner for now or maybe Janowic in that mix.

I was sorry that Andy Roddick/Serena Williams never happened due to Andy's injury at AO and Serena's workload at the Olympics.

I second a sequel (I suppose, technically, a third time) to Djokovic/Murray. If ever a minute told the complete story about two players in a particular moment, it was that point.

Same generation. Both good on grass. Complementary styles: Roddick brilliant at moments, crummy at other times. Hewitt a model of (relative) consistency. Put Andy on the deuce side, Lleyton on the ad. Both warriors, with fighter mentality, especially in Davis Cup.

They actually did play together once, and very recently (just this year at Queens). Too bad they ran into the #1 seed and eventual champions...in the 1st round.

Another mixed-n-match pair might be Agassi and Graf...maybe against Hewitt and Clijsters. Ha!

Isner has also played with Anderson....and most often with Querrey.

Would be more fun seeing him with O Rochus.
